  • I know, yay! I miss you... We had a party last night for JayJay's birthday. It was nice to have everyone over, but immediately I thought about you and wished you could be here. How are aunty and uncle adjusting to the move? Miss you and Love you....

Welcome Kristna to Maoli. You have an interesting name. do you know what your name means?

There are several meanings to your last name. Hana means to labor or work and Keawe is an ancient chief that intergraded with different classes of the Hawaiian people. Which at that time, was forbidden for the Ali'i class to mix with the common people.

Braddah Keawe was Kolohe (a rebel)...he he.. he...or he was just having fun with the ladies....

What he vision was a Hawaiian race of one stock. Due to the Wars between the Royal families thru the ages his mixing of the sacred bloodline of the Ali'i class could be hiddened among his/her loyal common people. Thus assuring that the true bloodline of a Pono Ali'i can rise up against his/her relative chief who is in power and is not Pono among the people

Keawe also means a southern star that guides us thru our ancient travels between Kahiki and home here in the islands.

where you live is a place called Makakilo. Which has several meanings. Like the eyes of the heavens (stars).. On a clear night and away from the city lights , you will see what I mean when yu look up in the Heavens and see the billons of stars.

There are several sacred poahaku's (stones) adjacent to the Freeway when you head into town and look mauka (mountian side) at those stones which was used to navigate long voyages throughout the pacific.

Well, you have a wonderful week gurl..
